We are practicing our songs for our Tour du Monde (Around the World) Multicultural Night, to be held on February 11, from 7-8:30. We hope you can join us to hear us sing in French and other languages. There will be games and activities from around the world. Please sign up to bring finger food or to help with the games, if you can.
In third grade, we are reviewing our body part vocabulary. We had to label each other in French and write sentences on white boards.
In fourth grade, we are reviewing classroom object vocabulary. We are playing "hot potato" (patate chaude) and we are getting ready for a scavenger hunt in class.
In fifth grade, we recently acted out a skit using body parts vocabulary about a woman who thought her son was missing (and a befuddled policeman kept asking strange questions). Our next skit will help us review clothing vocabulary -- it involves a mother and two teenagers who have trouble getting dressed for school . . .
